LIAFS is very thankful to John Keller, LIAFS employee, for securing a donation for Atlantis Marine World tickets for our youth! LIAFS is very grateful to Jon Zimmerman, Camp4 Kids, for the generous donation of six laptops for our youth. LIAFS has partnered with Nassau County's Subsidized Work Program. This program matches and places those currently unemployed with Partner agencies at no cost to the agency. We are thankful to Nassau County for offering us this opportunity! LIAFS has been awarded a program grant from the Community Foundation. We are very grateful for this award. LIAFS is grateful to GoogleAdwords for their continued support of our programs. LIAFS is grateful to Ms Susan Eilers, Ronkonkoma for the generous donation of computer games and learning software for our youth. A very special thanks to Mrs. Chiaro and St. Patricks School, Huntington for the sports equipment drive that will be initiated in February for LIAFS. LIAFS participated in the 2009 Payless Gives Shoes 4 Kids Program. This is a grass roots campaign to deliver $1.2 million in free shoes to children and families in need. |
